One in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage, but it’s an experience many women still feel ashamed to speak about. If Everyone Knew is a short documentary about baby loss that meets three women who share their personal journeys: Gurinder went through six miscarriages and one stillbirth, Vanessa underwent rounds of IVF and had a life-threatening ectopic pregnancy and Donna had several miscarriages including a ‘missed miscarriage’.
This short documentary was filmed across the UK during the winter lockdown as restrictions began to ease, where public spaces were still closed and social distancing measures were still in place.
